In his latest work, Float, Young presents a delicate bronze paper boat adrift on a sea of glass. The sculpture captures a moment of stillness and quiet wonder — the fragility of a vessel suspended on an infinite expanse. The bronze form, referencing childhood play and human exploration, contrasts beautifully with the precision-cut glass below, evoking both strength and vulnerability. Through this poetic interplay of materials, Young continues his exploration of balance, emotion, and the pull between the tangible and the imagined.
