Lynley Brownridge

Lynley Brownridge is a Central Otago based artist who creates exquisite floral paintings with a focus on dramatic and compelling light effects. Working in oil on stretched canvas, Brownridge creates compositions that are simultaneously dramatic and peaceful.

Flowers are a recurring theme in Brownridge's life, as the artist describes "flowers have always been a part of my world...from the flowers that my Mother grew and her encouragement in my love of gardening, to my work in horticulture, and now through my art."
